Memories of last month (August 6, 2026) which was the penultimate day of "Weaves of India Festival" at Cottage Industries Emporium New Delhi!

We were delighted to meet our customers- the wonderful Mam & the adorable Ivan from Taiwan and UK! Being the penultimate day, the realisation had dawned that it was the last few hours that all of us exhibitors would be together! So we clicked pictures with all our talented weaver entrepreneur neighbours from Rajasthan, MP, Gujarat, Goa, Kerala & more! They all helped a lot all the days, and even in packing the next day, they all chipped in!

From pics 25 to 29, you can see how for event "Woven Legacies" the entire top floor was arranged beautifully in a museum style! Pic 29 remains a favourite! And pics 30,31 show the other floors of CCIE - a huge 4 floors complex dedicated to Indian craft and weaves!

Pic 32 onwards are special ones as Smt. Sonia Gandhi gave a surprise visit to the exhibition on 5th August & boosted the morale of exhibitors!

Every connection made feels personal & beautiful! That's why we do exhibitions in between- it forges beautiful connections and brings us much needed sales too! Watch out for special Aug 7 (wow..it will be a month tomorrow of National Handloom Day- Sept 7!) memories on our page tomorrow!
