For centuries, silk has meant luxury — and, quietly, it’s also meant thousands of silkworms boiled alive for a single garment. At Hand and Yarns, we believed there had to be a better way.

Our vegan silk is harvested only after the moth has completed its natural life cycle — nothing boiled, nothing rushed. Just the same radiant sheen, fluid drape, and second-skin softness silk has always promised. Ethical doesn’t mean ordinary.
