I was in the age of ten when I saw this beautiful Embroidery in
one of my neighbour's half saree and fell in love at my first sight instantly. Still I remember the dark green Color of the half saree and yellow thread work on "v". I was running pillar to post to learn that stitch. But I was forbidden to know even the name of that stitch itself. My longing for learning that stitch is prolonged. But my prayers were answered, finally I found it in Abudhabi in a Pakistani woman's dress. That small spark which is hiding in my heart for these many years ignited a volcanic eruption. There she is .... Aarabi Couture is born. "I" became "we", now at aarabi couture, our team is engaged with empowering underprivileged women by upskilling them with rarest of rare stitches. The pursuit of Kutch embroidery opened a new gate!
