In this part of the Cyber world, you would find carefully chosen, handpicked sarees... Apart from these would be our signature collection

s. Our Endeavour has been to bring quality products at a reasonable and fair price. Amongst the collection would be silk, hand painted Murals, ethnic wear, ikkat, Maheswaris, Tussar silk, Jute silk, Pochampallis, Balucheris, Chanderis, Batik, Bandhanies,Block prints etc all sourced from as close to the weaver as possible. In years to come by we hope that Pranava the temple of sarees and fashion would be used interchangeably. In this Endeavour your suggestion and advice would be appreciated.

Kalamkari is a type of hand-painted or block-printed cotton textile, produced in parts of India. The word is derived from the Persian words ghalam (pen) and kari (craftmanship), meaning drawing with a pen.

There are two distinctive styles of kalamkari art in India - the Srikalahasti style and the Machilipatnam style. The Srikalahasti style of kalamkari, wherein the "kalam" or pen is used for free hand drawing of the subject and filling in the colors, is entirely hand worked. This style flowered around temples and their patronage and so had an almost religious identity. The machilipattanam style of kalamkaari ,wherein the wooden blocks are used for printing.

Here we have used screens for printing to get the replicas of srikalahasthi style of kalamkaris....
