In Margate, I found a scarf from the 1400s. 🇬🇧

I found this tulle dress in India and went through such an ordeal to have my order fulfilled. It’s a miracle that this fits me and how beautifully! 🇮🇳

My second year in Boston was when I decided to invest in winter jackets that went above “staple pieces” and could qualify as a fashion choice. A baby pink jacket was obviously it. 🇺🇸

I love when a look comes together in the randomest ways possible and I love it even more when it conveys how you feel. 🌤️

Today I feel cheerful and like taking a spin every few steps of my way! 🌊🍭

It has come to my understanding after years of playing, dabbling, exploring that to be able to be distracted by what you love, is a privilege.

After an exhausting, fulfilling semester at , I’m back home designing purely for the lost joy of why I stepped into fashion in my own terms seven years ago - with no experience, lots of curiosity, and a backup plan that if it fails, I’ll deactivate the account and disappear! 😂

Years later we are still around I guess because I enjoy knowing your story. And as a professional yapper, you hear mine and in the process of our rambles, we design beautiful clothes! ✨🌸

I’ve been thinking a lot about anxiety in the past few weeks but more so towards ways to handle it, what triggers a reaction, what controls it, does it ever get better and what not..

For anyone who even vaguely knows me, is well aware of the fact that I think deeply. It’s a boon and a bane. And on days when I have no control over what I allow myself to think,…I don’t know where I was getting with that thought.

But all of this is to set context to say that in the last few weeks I’ve realised my obsessive mind is consumed thoroughly, it’s almost liberating to be so consumed, when I’m thinking design.

A lot of timely acts of destiny - a long standing client/friend wanting to design for her wedding, a random enquiry from a fashion enthusiast to work with me, and courage to see what happens if I take it up - led to actually being saved from my own rampant thoughts and sometimes business school submissions.

Oh saving grace my brain child, , has been for my own self! :’)

Almost forgot that years ago I had wanted to attend the India conference at Harvard and I finally made it today!

The greatest minds shaping India speaking back to back - borderline giving me FOMO of what I might be missing back in India and identity crisis for what am I doing here - is definitely worth all the existential questions!!

This is NOT the first time designed with Saa!

Our first attempt was a failure. It was back when I had no team, human capital was outsourced and I had a few more years of rigorous training to go to understand the nuances of custom designing clothes for clients located internationally.

Vithya was in Malaysia back then and I remember being SO excited to get it right. But, life happens and she handled the communication so gracefully that I promised myself to get back to her when I became more confident of my craft.

Took us 2-3 years and this collaboration was a full circle moment!! It’s also extremely special because we re-designed one of her own pieces that has been sleeping for a wee bit. This collaboration aligns perfectly with our values of wanting to design clothes that will last your years, if not decades, and makes you feel special EVERY SINGLE TIME you wear it! ♥️

Here’s to second chances! Thank you . You know you have my whole heart!
