Śilpa Sabi website (bio) will stay at least for another year! ♥️ www.silpasabi.com There has been a reclamation on my part as creator & owner of it. Last month, I spoke about it coming down & all the jewelry would be moved to Etsy. The great thing is that all the jewelry has moved to Etsy AND it remains on the website which is where I like to direct people because it’s like entering an artistic realm of art. The day before the site was to come down, tears started to roll down my face. I was sitting in front of the website ~ what I spent days & even months trying to build & design by myself. It was a labor of artistic passion & learning. I had zero experience in this area, and a few friends couldn’t believe that I built it. I couldn’t either until it was complete. There’s always room for improvement, & I seek ways from time-to-time to make changes to it.
The most important lesson is perseverance. I began Śilpa Sabi in the spring/summer of 2023. It was my first business venture. Yes, its a legal, registered business & I pay taxes. Sales definitely have been a pain point, & I believe that’s a marketing issue. This is what needs to be figured out for sure.
Like a beautiful tree. It first must develop strong & solid roots to be able to hold the weight of its branches & withstand strong winds. Business is pretty much the same. If a solid foundation is laid — then it’s about waiting & development. This is what I continue to hope & believe. 🙏🏻
