WE OPENED THE SHOE — AND THIS IS WHAT WE FOUND

Most brands stop testing once the shoe “looks” good.

We did the opposite.

We cut it open.
Piece by piece. Layer by layer.

Because real quality is hidden inside
in the foam density, the stitching pattern, the lining, the glue work, the reinforcement.

And when we opened this prototype…
we realised something important:

It was okay.

But okay is dangerous.
Okay means comfort today - pain tomorrow.
Okay means the shoe survives 3 months - not 3 years.
Okay means “good enough”…

And VVID is not built on “good enough.”

So we reworked everything the eye doesn’t see:

— stronger heel counter
— denser midsole foam
— better arch support
— improved stitching reinforcement
— upgraded leather cut thickness

No shortcuts. No rush.

When someone buys VVID, they’re not buying hype —
they’re buying years of decisions like this.

When this prototype arrived, most people said the same thing:

“Bro, it already looks perfect just launch it.”

But we don’t build shoes for Instagram pictures.
We build shoes people live in every single day.

So we looked closer.

The sole height wasn’t balanced.
The heel support wasn’t stable enough.
The stitching tension wasn’t consistent.
The cushioning felt good for 5 minutes… not for 5 hours.

These are details the camera will never show
but your feet will always feel.

So instead of saying “chalta hai”…

we rejected the sample.

Not because it was bad
but because it wasn’t VVID yet.

Luxury isn’t about logos.
Luxury is the discipline to say NO until it’s truly right.

This was one of our earliest samples.

At first glance, it looked “good enough.”

But we saw everything the camera doesn’t show
the balance, the structure, the comfort, the stitching.

So instead of rushing to launch…

We took it apart - piece by piece-
and rebuilt it again.

Because at VVID, “good enough” is never an option.
