A fashion swapping platform for women that let's you swap gorgeous pieces from your closet with curated pieces from other member closets. What is This for That?

A unique fashion sharing platform for women. Our premise is simple. As women we have such gorgeous stuff sitting in our closets and yet we want better and newer things all the time. This for That lets you swap these things for items you really like from other member closets. You can decide to swap things temporarily or permanently, entirely up to you. How does it work?
1) Click and upload pictures

of the beauties in your closet (Clothes, bags, shoes, accessories)
2) Assign a credit value to your stuff (whatever you think it’s worth)
3) Browse photos of equally stunning stuff from other women’s closets and take your pick
4) Hit swap
5) Get things delivered

That simple, that fun!

Saw various media publications write about the earrings that Kate Middleton recently wore, which originally belonged to Princess Diana and it sparked this thread. Would the same people have applauded her if she would have re-worn a piece of fast fashion, to extend its life? Why do we de value our clothes so much? Why is it so easy to discard clothes? This image is of the supposed clothing ‘donations’ that go to Ghana. The current system of treating dead/un sold stock and post consumer waste is extremely flawed and needs serious attention. TFT is determined to make a change to both of these sides. It’s a slow and hard process but we will keep at it.

In the words of Sophie Benson- “This is the ‘away’ and it’s not a failure of the system, it’s an integral part of it. This pollution is how brands make space to sell us more and more stuff we don’t need.”
