Proud mom moment in BANARASI HANDLOOM PURE Khaddi GEORGETTE six yards at my daughter’s Convocation in United states !

I recently traveled over 11-12,000 miles to the United States to attend my daughter’s Bachelor/graduation ceremony.

Graduation day was truly unforgettable. Many people advised me not to wear a saree because of the Arizona heat. 🌞 But I knew in my heart from the day one of her university that I wanted to celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime milestone in my traditional attire.
So I proudly wore my Banarasi saree, carrying a piece of my heritage and culture with me all the way to the United States.

Adding pride to this , my daughter’s idea to pay tribute to her home country and the country she born n brought up was by wearing a sash having india flag n oman flag along with Graduation sash which was a highlight too for all of us .

It was a beautiful reminder that no matter where life takes us, our roots always remain with us.
