Madhubala and Dilip Kumar are enclosed in a pastel heart in this poster of the film Tarana (1951), directed by Ram Daryani. In the romantic melodrama, Madhubala plays the titular role of Tarana while Dilip Kumar is a doctor who falls in love with her after accidentally landing in a village following a plane crash.
The widely cherished soundtrack of the film was composed by Anil Biswas with lyrics by Kaifi Irani, Prem Dhawan and D.N. Madhok. One of the most remembered songs from Biswas' compositions for the film remains "Seene Mein Sulagte Hai Armaan" sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Talat Mahmood.
