While hand making anything makes it special purley for the amount of time and energy that someone is exchanging with the physical item, for us at House Of Uma it is so important for us to be in contact with all of our materials and craftsmen and women who all follow the same ethos and care while bringing our visions to life. When it ends up in your hands we want you to feel the same passion and love for your items just as we have felt as we nurtured the idea and brought it to life so you could fully enjoy your pieces knowing you were supporting so many others in the process!

Our journey with House Of Uma has been a lengthy process to say the least. Discovering design through the lenses of SO MANY different artists such as this gentleman who is so dedicated to his craft represents a lot more than beautiful colours and shapes but rather precision, rhythm and alot of patience!

We visited many different artists in India whilst on our quest to find the perfect match for our House Of Uma vision! We have learnt alot about sourcing / process and finding the perfect partners that we would love to share with you our journey and things that we have learnt along that will connect you more to our art and vision while also helping anyone who wishes to pursue a SUSTAINABLE and ETHICAL apparel business.

We are SO excited to share with you over the coming weeks all the design processes and challenges whilst growing our House of Uma brand and any helpful tools we have discovered along the way.
