You might also find pashmina or cashmere on very cheap cost but that would not be genuine or pure.
And yes RING TEST does not show the genunity of pashmina shawl. Its just a Myth! Even silk shawls do pass through the ring easily.

DO YOU KNOW:-
Pure and original PASHMINA comes from the naturally shedding hair of a particular goat found in Kashmir & Ladakh.The raw material of genuine Pashmina should be obtained under the fleece of mountainous goat called Capra Hircus, which is collected by combing, since the goat sheds its winter coat naturally. The most important aspect is that it should be hand spun and hand woven only.
It takes around 2-3 years to woven 1 pashmina shawl.
That is why the genuine and pure Pashmina’s or Cashmere is expensive. And a very plain, and basic shawl starts from 300$ to 3000$ and above (Depending upon the work done on it)
