Most parents do this:
👉 Hand over the toy… and expect the child to “just play”
But toddlers don’t learn like that.
Here’s what actually works:
• Sit with them first (they learn through YOU)
• Start with the easiest part (confidence comes before interest)
• Show once… don’t keep correcting
• Stop early (this is the secret most people miss)
If you wait till they get bored…
they won’t come back to it again.
Leave them wanting more!!
that’s how focus is built.
This is exactly how I introduced quiet books to my child…
and now she can sit and engage for longer without screens.
No forcing.
No distractions.
Just simple, Meaningful play.
