This Independence Day, we remember that freedom was fought for not only on the streets, but also through what we chose to wear. 🇮🇳

During the freedom movement, Khadi became a powerful symbol of Swadeshi, self-reliance and resistance. The simple act of spinning and wearing our own cloth became a way of standing against dependence on British mill-made textiles.
