📢 IMPORTANT MARKET UPDATE | TEXTILE PRICES

Dear Retailers & Resellers,

You may have noticed a significant rise in prices of Saree Falls, Lining Cloth, Blouse Pieces, Petticoats & Cotton Nighties.

One of the factors currently affecting Rajasthan’s textile-processing sector is the stricter environmental compliance and wastewater-management measures following recent Supreme Court proceedings concerning textile hubs such as Pali, Balotra & Jodhpur.

The Supreme Court has directed that treated/tertiary wastewater should not be discharged into the Jojari River and has stressed reuse/recycling of treated water in textile processes such as dyeing and printing. (Live Law)

These changes are creating additional compliance, treatment and production costs, along with operational constraints for textile-processing units — ultimately putting upward pressure on fabric prices.
