It has always lived here, in our stories, our royalty, our textiles, our craftsmanship, and in the quiet confidence Indian women have carried for generations.

While creating MIRTARA, we realised glamour was never only about dressing up. It was always about a feeling. The feeling of confidence, of power, of femininity. This collection has been our way of bringing that feeling back, with stories that feel deeply rooted in India.

Because glamour isn’t something we borrowed.
It has always belonged to us.

There’s this perception that glamour arrived in India through modern fashion and Western influence. But before fashion editorials, runways, and campaigns existed, India already knew glamour in its own way. It lived in the grandeur of Sheesh Mahals, in royal darbars glowing beneath giant chandeliers, in jewels that symbolised beauty and legacy, and in regal portraits that captured elegance so effortlessly.

With MIRTARA, we wanted to carry those same feelings forward, the emotion of how it makes you feel that was once Indian glamour. It was always about it’s artistry and the way beauty was lived

Every time we create a new collection, we begin with one thought, what story are we truly telling?

While building MIRTARA, we kept finding ourselves drawn back to our roots. And somewhere during that journey, we realised something beautiful. So much of what we call glamour today has always existed in our history.

Before spotlight moments and red carpets, there were queens entering royal courts with grace and presence. Before cameras documented beauty, artists painted it by hand and preserved it like legacy.

And that’s when we understood, India has always known how to shine.

MIRTARA is our way of bringing that timeless glamour into today’s world.
