“India is rich in all forms of art and I am in love with the beautiful handcrafted jutti and phulkaris among several others. I wanted those perfect pair
of shoes, to go with the gorgeous phulkaris my mom got hand crafted
for me. I tried the prettiest stilettoes, wedges and jeweled flip flops but
found my heart buried in juttis. I traveled for days to find the artisans who would sew my perfect wedding shoe. And there I sat sketching and explaining, and he sew. Ever since I had friends and family from all over the globe inquire about my ‘gold, fushchia, red jutti and phulkari’ and I would get it made and send over,
that they wore with all kinds of dresses and garments. Which I now
