The Indo-German project Cocccon was founded in 2012 in the east Indian state of Jharkhand in order to create an economic perspective for rural poor. 60 handlooms and 30 power looms are in full function to weave high quality non-violent organic silk. Project cocccon has a team of graphic and textile designers and its own dyeing-printing unit to create trendy fabrics.
