A series of reflection on custodianship, authorship, welfare, innovation, heritage, global indigenous forums, and tribal epistemology.

This series asks a simple question:

When tribal knowledge enters institutions, policies, museums, classrooms, markets and global platforms, who remembers the community, who records the authorship and who benefits?

HEAT, LAND and TRIBAL COMMUNITIES

As temperatures rise, the people most exposed to open skies, forests, fields and fragile livelihoods are often the first to feel the impact. Adivasi Academy, Bhasha and TDF invite local tribal communities of Chhotaudepur district, along with designers, engineers, scholars and other professionals, for a community gathering to deliberate on rising temperatures, climate change and local pathways for mitigation.

About Ritesh Kumar

Ritesh Kumar is an accomplished education researcher and a PhD Scholar at the Department of Education (CIE), University of Delhi. As a twice-qualified UGC NET JRF scholar with an academic foundation spanning a B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Ed., and M.Ed., his work seamlessly intersects scientific enquiry and community-centric practices.Ritesh has served as a Research Assistant on multiple projects at the University of Delhi and as a Research Consultant for a major ICSSR project specifically focusing on the Baiga Tribe. Currently, his ethnographic research delves into the ethnomathematics of indigenous communities in Jharkhand. A prolific contributor to academic discourse, he has published research papers in reputed NCERT and NCTE journals, authored several book chapters, and regularly presents his findings at premier national and international conferences.

ग्रीन हब सेंट्रल इंडिया फेलोशिप एक 10 महीने का आवासीय कार्यक्रम है, जो भोपाल में आयोजित किया जाता है। यह कार्यक्रम आदिवासी एवं ग्रामीण युवाओं को पर्यावरण एवं वन्यजीव संरक्षण, सतत कृषि और आजीविका, तथा सामाजिक परिवर्तन के क्षेत्रों में वीडियो और स्टोरीटेलिंग के माध्यम से सशक्त बनाने के लिए बनाया गया है।

यह फेलोशिप मध्य प्रदेश, झारखंड, छत्तीसगढ़, महाराष्ट्र, ओडिशा, राजस्थान, गुजरात और पश्चिम बंगाल (उत्तर दिनाजपुर और नीचे) के ग्रामीण एवं आदिवासी युवाओं के लिए है।
