Weaved by evergreen kaarigars of Lucknow.

The Tepchi/Taipchi work is a specific form used in Chikankari Embroidery.

Tepchi Chikankari Embroidery is done by hand ✋.

The Tepchi/Taipchi stitch resembles Jamdani.
Since at that time Jamdani was not easily available in Lucknow, the elites wanted to replicate this fabric,
They asked chikan kaarigars to create designs closest to Jamdani and that's how Taipchi/Tepchi stitch work was created.
