This is a day-long experiential workshop in Kolkata where adults explore memory, emotion, and imagination through movement, theatre games, and mask-making—without performance pressure.
We begin with grounding and non-verbal play, move into creating a personal mask using colours and textures, and then explore the mask through quiet embodied practice, followed by reflection and closure. Sharing is always optional.
Facilitated by a theatre practitioner, a psychology lecturer, and a Chhau performer. The space is built around consent, emotional safety, and choice.

—A year-long thought.

A simple idea—to open our terrace like a supper club.
What followed was more than we imagined.
People related—to chat, to terraces, to real stories.

This was never just a pop-up.
It was about real people, real conversations, charity, curation, and connection.

We planned for a few.
What we received was overwhelming love.
Over 150 people in six hours—exciting, terrifying, and magical.

From performers to participants,
from collaborators to strangers who became family—
you are the soul of Chhader Goppo.
We were only the medium.

Chapter one ends here.
This is just the beginning.
More conversations, more shared spaces, more miles to go.
