"Being selected as a Finalist for Young Interior Designer of the Year 2026 at the WADEAsia Design Competition is truly a dream come true.

Out of 3,000+ submissions making it to the final jury round and being one of just 9 finalists in my category feels surreal. What makes it even more special is finding myself standing alongside designers whose work I have always admired and looked up to.

As a student of INIFD Lindsay Street Kolkata (now NIF Global) it feels incredibly special to see how far this journey has come. In truly grateful to my college my mentors Shashank sir , Subhashish sir , Afreen mam , Dilkush mam , Puja mam and everyone who has supported me along the way.

Now i'm looking forward to the final jury round on 22nd August 2026."

A glimpse into the NIF Global presents GenNext Jury India's well-known designer discovery platform dedicated to supporting and mentoring emerging design talent. The October 2026 jury session was held in Mumbai, where eight promising designers presented their collections before a panel of industry experts. The selected winners will go on to showcase their work at the upcoming Lakme Fashion Week, in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India, in October 2026.
