There is something deeply comforting about things made slowly. 🌿

A thread spun by hand.
A fabric woven on a loom.
Colours that unfold patiently, fold by fold..

For this edit, we’re bringing along some of our favourite Itajime Shibori pieces. where fabric is carefully folded, clamped and dyed, creating patterns that are never quite the same twice. Each opening of the folded cloth feels like a small surprise. ✨

At Midnight Mess, we love leaving a little room for the unexpected.. the uneven edges, the quiet textures, the colours that wander, and the little imperfections that remind you that a pair of hands made this.

We’re happy to be part of Pink Gulabb , curated by Mohua Chatterjee this weekend.

Come spend a slow afternoon with us. Feel the fabrics, discover the colours, try on a few pieces, and perhaps take home something that feels a little like you. 🤍
