If someone says proper hijab is a "journey" it's simply a modern day trap from shaitan. The sahabi women never had a journey to hijab. They heard the ayah. They obeyed. Right there. No second guessing. No waiting for that perfect moment. No overthinking. No ifs and buts. Yes we are very low in eeman. Yet obeying Allah is not about being 'ready'. It’s about submitting immediately despite the struggle and your current circumstances. We obey our teachers and bosses and rules of companies. But when it comes to a commandment from Allah or following the sunnah, we slow down and maybe ignore. Hijab is not a choice, it's not just a cloth, it's an order from Allah, it’s a badge of faith, a step closer to Him. Don’t wait for the perfect moment, because even your next moment isn’t promised.
