A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has contributed so far.

By next week, once most of the supplies arrive, we will begin distributing them to villages that have been severely affected. Much of the support is being delivered directly on the ground by dedicated local volunteers, so we may not always be able to share photos or videos of every distribution.

At our common collection point, we are currently gathering essential relief materials, including spades, taslas, tarpaulins, soaps, bleaching powder, and phenyl. Every contribution, big or small, is helping families take the first steps towards recovery. Thank you for standing with Assam.

With the support we received yesterday, relief materials are packed and ready to reach affected families today.

Thank you. Every contribution, no matter how small, has made this possible.

Please keep Assam in your prayers. Year after year, people are promised lasting solutions to the devastating floods. Many citizens and experts have raised concerns about issues such as illegal mining, massive deforestation, flyovers, dam-related impacts, and environmental mismanagement, believing these have worsened flooding in several parts of Upper Assam—including areas that historically were not flood-prone.

It is heartbreaking to watch communities lose their homes, livelihoods, and dignity. We believe there must be greater transparency, accountability, and long-term planning in how public resources are used. Too many welfare schemes appear, on paper, to promise relief, while many beneficiaries continue to struggle on the ground.

If you wish to help, consider donating directly to credible grassroots organisations or individuals actively involved in relief work, where you can see your support reaching those in need.

Today, your compassion is someone’s meal, someone’s medicine, someone’s hope.

Thank you for standing with Assam.

⚠️ Content Warning: This post contains sensitive images from the flood-affected areas. We are sharing them not to shock you, but because this is the reality thousands of families are living through today.

Every day we come across people who have lost their homes, belongings, livelihoods, and the little sense of security they once had. While relief efforts are providing food and dry rations in many places, the next urgent challenge is helping communities clean, disinfect, and make their surroundings safe enough to return to.

This is where your support can make an immediate difference.

Please remember: No donation is too small. No act of kindness is insignificant. If you can help just one family within your capacity, that is enough.

We also understand that many people hesitate before donating, wondering whether their contribution will truly reach those in need.

We want to assure you that 100% of your donation will be used for flood relief and sanitation efforts. Every contribution will be accounted for, and if you would like to know how your donation was used, we will be happy to personally share the details with you.

Your contribution is also eligible for tax deduction under Sections 12A and 80G but please share your pan details along with the donation for this to apply.

The devastation is so widespread that it has affected people across all walks of life. While many will eventually rebuild, some have lost everything. In several heartbreaking cases, we have found widows and children left without support because relief has not reached them due to family disputes over financial assistance. These are the people who often fall through the cracks, and they need us the most.
We cannot undo what the floods have taken away. But together, we can help restore dignity, hygiene, and hope.

Donate if you can. Share this post if you cannot. Every effort counts.
🇮🇳 Indian donations only (The current account cannot receive international contributions).
Thank you for standing with Assam.
