Our spring-summer collection is a rumination on transformation. Silver spells of rain from an icy winter beckon spring. In tonal shades of verdant green through to orchard brights, our journey this season takes off from a tumultuous 2021. A series of misfortunes led to hope and a new beginning with ‘Earth Song’: A lush, lively, and joyfully abundant collection that speaks to hope persevering in the thick of a crisis. We used silk chanderi, pure silk, and organza. Resham aari, French lace, and cross-stitch lace. Dainty, luxe materials and technique that are lavished with time, effort, and love.
At Jasmine Shah, collections are put together mindfully. Our trims, laces, prints, and fabrics are pieced together like tapestry—richly layered in contrasting sheer and opaque panels and complimentary motifs. Look closer and you’ll find cardinal crimson beetles on waxy leaves amidst the lushness. A calm washes over you with our library of colours that are picked to soothe and lend a sense of ease. You’ll find buttercup, peony, haint blue, ecru, and sage—a harmonious blend of hues borrowed from the earth and refined in fabrics that are easy on the skin.
This summery line doesn’t miss a beat—every tuck, trim, and stitch lends a new lease of life to our ethos of nature’s plenty. A melange of flowers and ferns sit pretty on paper-light fabrics. Our lush prints this season mirror the spirit of togetherness; a coming together of people, long-awaited reunions, and sweet conversations into easy dusk.
From everyday through to special occasions, our clothes are suited to many lifestyles. A luxuriously late brunch with a tight-knit group of friends through to a day at home with your morning raga, this spring-summer capsule is your first glance at the magic of spring...you can almost taste it on the wind.
