Layered to give a feeling of fluidity and movement. Cut diagonally, horizontally, vertically and pieced back together. And sweet heart shell buttons if you weren’t already sold 😊

All natural linen, completely handwoven with mother of pearl buttons… we were trying to reach these environmentally friendly clothes to you with minimal environmental damage but as a small business, we couldn’t place the bulk orders required to access green packaging. Am super thrilled that it’s finally happened 😊

Some of our earlier clothes are still packed in plastic so this transition will be gradual but we are glad to have taken one more step in being 💯 sustainable from source to consumer.

We started our online business with recyclable packaging but now we are slowly moving to fully sustainable and compostable packaging materials.

All of our clothes are handwoven and made from natural materials so it was imperative that we keep finding solutions to get greener.

Inspite of unseasonal rains, your packages will now reach you safe and sound and with minimal environmental damage 😊

Always love how others interpret and own our clothes in their very distinctive way. It’s interesting and so educative.

Namrata and Vineeta (.dhaage ) ‘s essence has always struck me as super stylish yet managing to exude calmness and serenity. It’s never loud or a look-at-me but more like a comforting friend you want to spend time with. So love how they have styled our peach cotton saree into this modish yet soothing vibe.

We despatched a bunch of these today. Will be contacting each of you who have placed an order in the next few days as we keep getting additional stock.

I have deep gratitude for all you folks who placed an order and waited patiently for the last month and a half as the weavers dyed the yarn, set the loom and wove it.

The sarees are woven in remote villages on the Bengal Bangladesh border. Then sent to the cooperative office at Nadia where each saree is checked, ironed and neatly packed before being sent to us.

Warmest gratitude to who connected me to so many of you.
