Every quilt starts as a pile of fabric and a wild idea, then slowly becomes something stitched with patience, late nights, second guesses, and a whole lot of love.
So when a quilt finally leaves my sewing room and finds its person, it feels a little like a happy ending.
Not because it's finished.
But because it was chosen.
And isn't that all any handmade thing really wants?
