Finally announcing Team Mitr as the champion winner of India’s first of its kind design competition celebrating design innovations for seniors. Mitr is a climbing device that needs to be attached to the railing of a staircase making it super easy and convenient for the 50+ age groups for them to walk up and down freely reducing the need to carry walking sticks everywhere. Heartiest Congratulations to the entire team on winning a whopping cash amount of rupees 1 lac for coming up with an innovative design concept catering to the . 👴🏻🧓🏻

With a first generation of a competition, it definitely wasn’t that easy to shortlist 3 concepts from a pool of 100+ entries we have received over the last few months. Huge huge congratulations to Team PINGU for conceptualising and designing an AI assisted device for older adult patients. Best wishes to the entire team. 😊👏🏻
