Our story of indiloom - an approach to crafts
India is an exquisite place to explore, learn and experience crafts. The products on the frozen mountains, amazingly colourful printed cotton fabrics near the sandy deserts, sea shells near the windy beaches, woven wonders spread across and we are still left for a lot more. Through ages such craftsmanship has fascinated us. Its time to connect with them, with what they make and share their stories. Its just a beginning and with our unending effort we will bring them to global recognition. Indiloom through its constant endeavour is connecting craft practitioners around the country. The team has traversed remotest locations considered hostile to identify and understand the thriving craft with empathy. It aspires to connect more and pen them as stories. Stories that will speak the voice and capture dreams of artisan. It will be a hope to restore knowledge, share the untold stories in miniscule details and provide a channel for sustainability. The worldly life with exquisite craftsmanship will be preserved for now and future. Along with telling their stories and sharing them around the world, indiloom has taken humble steps in providing a platform to sell their creative expressions. Inclusion of financial stability is indispensible for sustainability of their lives and we value them. We also understand the importance of contemporary trends and its incorporation. At indiloom, we will keep striving to provide sustainability to the artisans by telling their stories, preservation and bringing the best of contemporary practices.
