We had the privilege of designing a custom blouse for the radiant Mrs. Vandana Lakhani for her son’s reception. Starting with her Banarasi saree as our guide, we chose a floral embroidery pattern that echoed the gold motifs in the weave and matched the deep violet throughout. Simple, intentional, and made entirely in our studio — just for her.
She wore it to her son’s wedding reception and reminded us why handcrafted will always mean something that ready-made never can.
