Oju Craft Centre is a Social Enterprise and sister unit of Oju Welfare Association, a philanthropic organization of Arunachal Pradesh, which has been sheltering and rehabilitating women victims of domestic violence, child marriage and destitute women and children etc. The products are being marketed through its sales emporium located at Naharlagun and Akashdeep, Itanagar. Many such helpless and needy women are rehabilitated and made self-reliant and self- employed, enhancing their livelihood. This was the humble aim of setting up Oju Craft Centre as a Social enterprise. On the 20th & 21st of April 2023, Arunachal Film Festival was celebrated which was organized by Arunachal Pradesh IPR in collaboration with Khenewa Group at Dorjee Khandu Convention Hall, Itanagar.

Oju Craft Centre run by Oju Welfare Association participated and exhibited the traditional clothing that were created by the inmates of the OWA. The profit earned by the Oju craft center is the major source of income for the artisans.

The occasion was graced by many Respected dignitaries from the State and Country, and the sales emporium got a promising response from the public. We extend thanks to the public for enjoying the beautiful creations, creativity, and hard work of the OWA family and heartfelt thanks to Rajesh Pabin, Event Management in charge of AFF2023 for this opportunity and for helping and providing this platform and valuable services to the OWA family.

For further information, the creations are sold through two sales emporiums located at the OJU campus, Naharlagun and Akashdeep, Itanagar, and also through our page - Oju Craft Centre.
