🌿 Exciting News from C&R! 🌿
We
are thrilled to share the success of the recent sustainability conference,
which saw an incredible turnout of over 200 industry leaders from textiles,
home textiles, and other sectors. 🌱
Our
Chairman, Mr C R Rai, also Co-Chair of the Textiles Committee of PHDCCI,
delivered a powerful message on the importance of environmental sustainability.
He highlighted the urgent need to adopt eco-friendly practices deeply rooted in
Indian culture.
Mr.
Rai reminded us of traditional practices that naturally supported
sustainability—using cotton bags, repurposing old newspapers, and dining on
biodegradable banana leaves. He urged us to revisit these methods to combat the
detrimental effects of plastic waste. ♻
"We
must look within our own culture for solutions to protect our environment.
Let's reduce waste and embrace reusable and biodegradable products," Mr Rai emphasized. 🌏
He
also stressed the importance of teaching our children the values of
environmental protection from a young age, fostering a sustainable future for
generations. 🌿
The
the conference concluded with Mr Rai and the Chair of the Textile Committee of
PHDCCI is awarding certificates of merit to our distinguished speakers. 🏅
