Portugal, for the sake of diplomatic convenience, is counted as a part of Mediterranean countries. Portuguese gave Fontainhas to Goa and we gave Oiya (pronounced ‘ia’ is a small beautiful village in Santorini, Greece), a fabulous Turkish/Mediterranean restaurant to Fontainhas, Panjim, Goa. The interiors are inspired by the Yali houses on the banks of Bosphorus in Istanbul. The restaurant is so beautiful that it is almost like a painting on a canvas. We have tried to keep the food as close as possible to being authentic and delectable. Oiya also has a beautiful Ottomanish bar and awesome music for you to hang around the bar post your dinner. Oiya is a hidden gem in fine dining and gourmet restaurant in Goa. It’s not offbeat but easy to find and serves some popular delicacies which we are sure you love to eat. Located on a creek, a few things that Oiya serves you on your plate are Muhammara, Feta and Watermelon salad, Burrata, Figs and Walnuts salad, Shakshouka, Shawarma, Doner, Wine leaf Dolma, Kibbe, Adana Kebap, Lahmachun, Pidde, Paella, Parma Ham Pizzas, Bolognese, Carbonara, Lamb Chops, Steak, Absolutely Fresh Pita bread, Baklava etc etc etc…. Whether you live in Goa or are visiting this should be a Must Do, Must Visit places/spots in Goa for Goa will be incomplete without Oiya Goa.
