Vasundhara | The Kurta Edit
Ajrakh and Khunn, but not quite the kurta you’d expect.
A straight-fit sleeveless kurta in pure cotton, naturally dyed and hand block printed in Ajrakh, with a Khunn patchwork yoke, thoughtfully picked to complement the print.
All the beauty of handcraft, in a silhouette that feels distinctly young and contemporary.

Benazir…

A collection shaped slowly, piece by piece, from things I have found, held on to, and finally brought together with intention. Old coins that have lived other lives, stones chosen for their character, not just their colour, and elements that carry the quiet beauty of age and wear.

You will see lapis lazuli, red jasper, turquoise, rose quartz, coral, citrine and many more natural stones across these pieces. Each one has a long history of use in adornment across cultures, valued for its natural form, depth of colour and the way it evolves over time. Nothing here is uniform or made to look perfect, and that is exactly the point.

The pendants and coins are antique or vintage finds, many of them originally part of traditional jewellery from different regions. They have been reworked and carefully composed so they can be worn again, without losing their original character.

Benazir is not about trends. It is about collecting, preserving and reimagining. Every piece is one of a kind, and once it is gone, it cannot be recreated in the same way.

You are welcome to visit the atelier and experience them in person. Message to book an appointment, or DM for more details.

Meera began with a genuine love for Indian textiles and crafts. I started Meera in 2022, as a way to turn that love into something more meaningful and lasting.
Over time, that love grew into a deeper understanding of the craft, the people behind it, and the value of things that are made slowly and with care. I found myself wanting to build something that stays true to that feeling.

In a world that moves so quickly, Meera is my way of slowing things down. It is a space that values thoughtful making, respects traditional crafts, and creates pieces that feel personal and lasting.

We work closely with craft clusters across different parts of India, engaging with artisans and communities whose knowledge and skill have been shaped over generations. This connection is at the heart of everything we create.
Everything you see here comes from that intention.
Not just to create something beautiful, but something meaningful enough to be held on to.

Meera is not just about clothing.
It is about staying connected to our roots while making them a part of today.

We hope you connect with these pieces as deeply as we did while creating them.

Love,
Saee
