I am so excited to finally share my newest pattern with you- The Zuri Crossbody Bag!

The name Zuri was inspired by our recent trip to Tanzania. In Swahili, Zuri means “Beautiful”, and it felt like the perfect name for a bag that’s both elegant and practical.

The Zuri Crossbody Bag is a stylish and practical everyday bag with ample space for your essentials and pockets that keep everything organized. Comfortable to wear and perfect for hands-free days.

It is an advanced beginner–friendly pattern, but truly approachable for almost anyone who enjoys bag making.

Finished Measurements - 11" W (widest point) × 11" H (overall) × 3" D (bottom)28cm W x 28cm H x 7.6cm D 9-3/4" (25cm) H measured from the curve center.

Making another bag before the pattern release! I’ll be working with velvet and corduroy for the very first time and I’m so excited to try them ❤️

Testing is happening now, and some testers have already finished their bags.

I’m so happy to share the Isla with you. It’s a stylish and practical bag, perfect for everyday use. It has a curved shape, a front zipper pocket, and a main zipper closure to keep your things safe.

The finished size is 13” W x 11” H x 3.75” D (33cm W x 28cm H x 9.5cm D) - big enough for your daily stuff without being too bulky. Inside, there’s a zipper pocket and two slip pockets to help you stay organized.
You can carry it by the short handles or wear it crossbody if you prefer hands-free.

Skill level: Confident Beginner
