'the party people' is a family enterpirse that came into existence as a result of a woman who loved making brides look even more beautiful than they already were - Philomena D'Souza. It all began with her designing and tailoring pretty bridal gowns and dresses
for the bridal troupe. Had it not been for the support and encouragement of her husband Bruno D'Souza, the initiative would have probably never taken off. Her passion was contagious and passed down to her daughters Belinda and Petronella. Belinda Gaikwad mainly looks after print matter with the main focus being on designing invitation cards and the like. She is also the critic who helps add a touch of perfection to the event. Petronella is responsible for the making of the bride's bouquet & other floral accessories and the beautification of the church, the reception area and the wedding car - through decor. Petronella also ensures that the Church service goes smoothly, planning each part of the ceremony with special care. They believe in seeing things through to the end. Thus, Petronella, along with her husband - Ashley, also ensure that the event pans out exactly as the bride and groom had in mind, by compering the event to make every moment enjoyable and memorable. The foundation of each assignment lies in the belief that nothing but the best will do to make the beginning of a long journey memorable, thus ensuring that every wedding is a huge success! - The answer is simple. We, at 'the party people' are here because we love weddings and there is no better way to be a part of so many weddings than being wedding planners. At 'the party people', we treat each wedding as our own and pay special attention to even the smallest detail. The process begins through getting to know the bride and groom-to-be better, not only keeping in mind their likes and dislikes, but paying special attention to their priorities and budget as well. Based on this, the theme and colour scheme are decided upon. We then discuss each aspect of the wedding ceremony and the reception and ensure that every aspect of the wedding compliments the other. At 'the party people', our responsibility doesn't end at ensuring that the entire event is colour-co-ordinated and theme oriented. In order to make the event truly perfect and memorable, we stand by the couple through the ceremony as well as the reception, making sure that everything goes smoothly and everyone enjoys every part of the event.
