There was something cinematic about sailing toward the Gateway of India as Galeries Lafayette (Galeries Lafayette India) arrived on Indian shores. Red GL balloons, the Mumbai skyline and just the thrill of being the few to preview the Indian outpost.

Aptly dressed in French colours but with an Indian heartbeat in Aarti Vijay Gupta’s ‘Kalighat Stories’, a print born from Bengal’s Patua art that I have loved since I saw the London Fashion Week pictures! Thank you AARTIVIJAY GUPTA for this!
