WELCOME TO “LÄTT LIV” !
We would like to introduce you a woman named Ying and her husband Sengqing from Guiyang, China. And some other day we would also like to introduce you Ludvig, Jonas, DaDa, Claus, Saya, Luki and many other Scandinavians and Asians.
Ying started her career as a fashion designer, while Sengqing worked in the tourist industry. When they met, love was in the air and soon they became a couple. As a young couple, they followed their dreams and travelled to another city Zhongshan where they opened their very first clothing store. Clothing were their major business with Ying using her creative skills and Sengqing his capability to build his network and growing the business. As they decorated the store with house inventory items to create a homey feeling in the clothing store, customers came not only to buy clothes but surprisingly also asked if they could buy the shop decoration items too!
Thus, a new idea was born and a brand-new store full of affordable, carefully selected household items was planned as their next project to start. Ying and Sengqing created a mission to let everyone enjoy simple good design products and daily needs for a very friendly price – the Scandinavian way. From being a small start-up business, things went on, one store became 2, then 3, 10 and… …then a lot! The stores are today called Lätt Liv.
The Scandinavians are good at making innovative long-lasting products, and the Chinese are passionate in quick action and equipped with mass production facilities. Win-win together!
