✨ NIFT Shillong Graduation Show 2026 ✨
An inspiring celebration of creativity, innovation, and achievement, the Graduation Show 2026 at NIFT Shillong was graced by the esteemed presence of our Director, Dr. Brijesh Deore.
Held on 23rd May 2026 at Windermere Hotel, Shillong, the event showcased the outstanding graduation projects of students from B.Des (Fashion Design, Fashion Communication, Fashion & Lifestyle Accessories, Textile Design) and MFM programmes.
Dr. Deore commended the graduating students for their dedication, creativity, and industry readiness, encouraging them to continue pushing boundaries and shaping the future of design.

✨ NIFT Shillong Graduation Project Show 2026 ✨
NIFT Shillong proudly hosted the Graduation Project Show of the 2026 graduating batches, showcasing the creative excellence and innovative work of students from B.Des programmes – Fashion Design, Fashion Communication, Fashion & Lifestyle Accessories, Textile Design – along with Master of Fashion Management Department.
Held on 23rd May 2026 at Windermere Hotel, Shillong, the event celebrated design thinking, craftsmanship, and industry-ready talent.
We were honoured to have Shri Frederic Roy Kharkongor, Principal Secretary of Textiles, Govt. of Meghalaya, as the Chief Guest, and Prof. Nalini Prava Tripathy, Director, IIM Shillong, as the Guest of Honour, whose presence added immense value and inspiration to the occasion.
From conceptual brilliance to market-ready innovations, the showcase reflected the spirit of creativity, sustainability, and future-forward design. 🌿✨

🎓✨ Young Minds at NIFT GP Show 2026 ✨🎓
We were delighted to welcome enthusiastic students from Seven Set School to the NIFT Shillong Graduation Project Show 2026, held on 23rd May 2026 at Windermere Hotel, Shillong.
The visit offered them an exciting glimpse into the world of fashion and design—exploring innovative projects across Fashion Design, Fashion Communication, Textile Design, Fashion & Lifestyle Accessories, and Fashion Management.
The students were thoughtfully guided through the showcase by senior faculty Mr. Febby D. Shanpru, Associate Professor, NIFT Shillong, who briefed them on the projects and shared valuable insights into design education and career pathways.
From creative concepts to real-world applications, the experience aimed to inspire and ignite future aspirations in design among young learners. 🌟

We were delighted to welcome enthusiastic NCC students from Army Public School, Shillong to the NIFT Shillong Graduation Project Show 2026, held on 23rd May 2026 at Windermere Hotel, Shillong.
The visit offered them an exciting glimpse into the world of fashion and design—exploring innovative projects across Fashion Design, Fashion Communication, Textile Design, Fashion & Lifestyle Accessories, and Fashion Management.

A proud moment for NIFT Shillong as the FC Department Semester 6 jury showcase highlighted months of dedication, creativity and innovation by the students. ✨

Among the showcased works was a live industry project with Shillong-based hyperlocal brand .official where students developed a new brand identity and UI/UX redesign. Their remarkable work was further recognised and appreciated by Mr. Paresh Sharma, the co-founder of Somoi on LinkedIn, marking a significant achievement for the students and the institute.

The second and final day of Essentials of Success, as continued on 9th April, moved forward with sessions on mindfulness, calmness, and balance in everyday life. Students were also introduced to the practice of sadhna and techniques to cultivate inner peace and mental clarity.

This initiative was conducted under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) scheme, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India.
