Srishti Tex. An organization of weavers collectively coming together as a women empowerment group to incorporate & In 2011, the actual field implementation has started.

The preliminary activities of Srishti have been going on since 2007. The month of September has been targetted as the start of the actual development of the various facilities like common facilities centre, worksheds, group formation, awareness generation, etc. Ministry of Textile, Government of India is setting up a handloom mega cluster in the district of Sivasagar.
