With a well-established fashion and manufacturing heritage, the team behind Stitch play have an emotional attachment to clothing. All of our t-shirts are designed in London and made in India. The locations for the design and manufacture of our products are a representation of our heritage. A heritage which sees our fashion experience gained from our founder’s studies at the London College of Fashion and work with leading UK and European designers. Whilst our manufacturing expertise stems back to our founder’s family origins as one of the leading clothing manufacturers in Gujarat, India. With all our products, we see it as our mission to not only be creative with our products but also to be responsible. From the initial stages of paying fair wages to the farmers who produce the organic cotton for manufacturing our t-shirts, to the way in which the t-shirt is delivered to you - we are responsible. The manufacture of our t-shirts involves a multi-stage process. This begins at the cotton farm, continues at our factories and carries on until your t-shirt is delivered to you. To guarantee the ethical manufacture of our t-shirts, we ensure only eco-friendly and sustainable practices are utilised, whilst ensuring quality is at the heart of everything we produce. This stems through every aspect of our production cycle. Our ethics continue with the personnel involved in taking our t-shirts from an idea in our team’s minds to a garment hanging in your wardrobe. We make it our responsibility to ensure everyone involved in the manufacture and distribution of our t-shirts are paid fairly. The end result is ethically produced t-shirts which are made from 100% Fairtrade certified organic cotton. We make t-shirts which not only look good but make a difference too.
