This handloom day - The main motive was to highlight the problems faced by Indian handloom weavers and urge the people of our country to respect and value the handloom industry, and the efforts of the weavers shouldn't get ignored as they are the roots of Indian textile.

The event was conducted by the students of .india under the mentorship of .

"Jab kalaron ki kadr karega India,
Tabhi toh saath aage badhega India."

Our founder Mrs. said : "The students are doing a great job by creating awareness about the weavers community. I believe if we help and encourage this awareness among people it will definately help the weavers in some way, and if their next generation wants to continue the craft it will be a little less challenging for them and it will then be worth creating the awareness today."
