في الخمسينات من القرن الماضي وفي منطقة سپنا / التابعة لقضاء العمادية / أتوك ( دهوك ) تم غزل من شعر المرعز ونسج ليكون قماشا فاخرا وخاصا للزي الآشوري ومن ثم تطريزه وخياطته من قبل اثنتين من نسوة قرية برزنكي وهما مريم بنيامين والمرحومة هوري شليمون والتطريز والخياطة حينذاك كانت يدويا بواسطة الابرة واللذين كانو يزاولونها قلائل من النسوة ممن كانو يصفونهم بالآشورية ( صنيثا أو كل صبوثا صانيتيلا ) بمعنى انها ماهرة أو كل اصبعها تمثل صنعة ) والدليل على مهارتهما هو الغزل والتطريز الجميل التي يظهر في الصور المرفقة وعندما طلبت مني عائلة المرحوم نيسان ياقوا بان اصمم لهم زي بنفس الرموز والنقشات الموجودة على الزي مما قمت باعادة تصميمها مع اجراء بعض التغييرات في زيادة مساحة النقشة وتوزيع الالوان وادخال بعض الزخارف لاضافة الجمالية للزي ......
