Mio padre non mi chiamava così per darmi un soprannome: mi guardava negli occhi e mi lanciava una vera e propria sfida evolutiva. Evocare figure come Gengis Khan, Attila o Chiang Kai-shek non significa augurare la distruzione, significa riconoscere in una bambina la stoffa di chi è fatto per comandare il caos, reggere gli urti, non piegarsi, diceva sempre mi spezzo ma non mi piego, Non erano carezze, erano investiture.
