Founded by Luciana Fazio alongside with his son Gian Marco Tavani, AMA PURE features high quality clothing & home accessories in cashmere, silk, pure wool and linen. Her curiosity and tenacity make you think of other times, when merchants traded along the

Silk Road. She spent years on the Mongolian mountains and in the Chinese valleys searching for the most exclusive cashmeres and silks. And there are very few people that can recognize quality by the touch as she does. Luciana ‘gets’ cashmere. She can spot the difference between authentic cashmere and the cashemere look, which is what the majority of companies tend to use nowadays. Further, Luciana recognizes the difference between a prestigious, hand-made item and a serial product. After years of working as a consultant and product manager for some international companies, Luciana has decided with her son Gian Marco Tavani to realize her dream and to create AMA, a company that produces genuine cashmere products, whose quality is not compromised by commercial pressures. What if we use the same 100% cashmere pure white we source for our shawls woven, and we knit it creating a « knitted cape on 18 gauges ultra light but ultra soft? »

We did it, than we tried to destroy it and we color we a natural black color trying to cover our white cashmere…

The result was even better, KNITTED CAPE ANTRACITE.
