MITCHUMM Industries™, the brand with the palm tree, tribute to California and the American actor Robert Mitchum, was born in 1976 on the West Coast in Manhattan Beach, near Los Angeles. T-shirts and swimming trunks were created in fancy colours and exclusive prints, drawing inspiration from Californian sports such as surf, windsurf, skateboard, mountain bike and beach
volley. The particular vibe made the brand instantly popular, and after just a few seasons, MITCHUMM Industries™ gets exported to Italy, on Lake Como, where the collection has now grown to include shirts and accessories. Como boasts two flagship stores, very popular with an international crowds. The brand’s American roots are always present, but now feed into a strong Made in Italy identity. Meticulous attention to details, the impeccable quality of thoroughly researched and selected fabrics from great British and Italian weavers, combined with creative packaging and vintage 80’s designs which have always set the brand apart, gain a new lease of life. The brand satisfies a contemporary man’s needs by merging design with quality and attention to detail, for those who want to stand out in style.

MITCHUMM Industries™, il brand con le palme, tributo alla California e all’attore americano Robert Mitchum, è nato nel 1976 sulla West Coast a Manhattan Beach, vicino a Los Angeles. Qui è iniziata una produzione di t-shirt e costumi da bagno stampati con disegni esclusivi e coloratissimi, ispirati agli sport tipicamente californiani come surf, windsurf, skate, mountain bike e beach volley. Il successo è stato immediato e nel giro di poche stagioni il brand viene importato in Italia, sul lago di Como, dove la collezione si è ampliata alla camiceria e agli accessori, e dove vengono aperti due flagship stores che vantano una clientela internazionale. Oggi MITCHUMM Industries™ è diretto da Alessandro Tino (1983). L’occhio rimane sempre rivolto verso gli Stati Uniti, ma il design made in Italy, l’amore per i dettagli, la ricerca dei particolari, la qualità dei materiali rigorosamente selezionati dalle principali tessiture italiane e inglesi, lo studio accurato del packaging e i disegni vintage anni ’80 che da sempre hanno contraddistinto il marchio prendono nuova vita, con l’intento di soddisfare le esigenze dell’uomo che vuole distinguersi con stile.
