MITCHUMM Industries™, the brand with the palm tree, tribute to California and the American actor Robert Mitchum, was born in 1976 on the West Coast in Manhattan Beach, near Los Angeles. T-shirts and swimming trunks were created in fancy colours and exclusive prints, drawing inspiration from Californian sports such as surf, windsurf, skateboard, mountain bike and beach volley. The particular vibe made the brand instantly popular, and after just a few seasons, MITCHUMM Industries™ gets exported to Italy, on Lake Como, where the collection has now grown to include shirts and accessories. Como boasts two flagship stores, very popular with an international crowds. The brand’s American roots are always present, but now feed into a strong Made in Italy identity. Meticulous attention to details, the impeccable quality of thoroughly researched and selected fabrics from great British and Italian weavers, combined with creative packaging and vintage 80’s designs which have always set the brand apart, gain a new lease of life. The brand satisfies a contemporary man’s needs by merging design with quality and attention to detail, for those who want to stand out in style.

Qui è iniziata una produzione di t-shirt e costumi da bagno stampati con disegni esclusivi e coloratissimi, ispirati agli sport tipicamente californiani come surf, windsurf, skate, mountain bike e beach volley. Il successo è stato immediato e nel giro di poche stagioni il brand viene importato in Italia, sul lago di Como, dove la collezione si è ampliata alla camiceria e agli accessori, e dove vengono aperti due flagship stores che vantano una clientela internazionale. There is a certain way of living that never goes out of style.
Cold mornings in the countryside.
A well-worn pair of boots. Horses in the distance. A roaring fire, a glass of wh**ky and a jacket that feels better the more you wear it.

For AW26/27 we enter this world.

At the centre of the collection is tweed — one of the most iconic fabrics of British country life.
Precious wool, woven in England on traditional wooden looms, following methods handed down through generations. A fabric with weight, texture and character. Made to protect you from the weather, but equally at home in a country pub, at a dinner table or behind the wheel of an old Defender.
Because the true gentleman doesn’t dress for an occasion.
He dresses for a way of life.
But this story doesn’t stop in England.
The tweed travels to Italy, where skilled artisans transform it into Mitchumm garments with the precision, passion and unmistakable attitude of Italian craftsmanship.
And somewhere between the English countryside and the Italian one, we found our own interpretation.

The gilet, inspired by the traditional style of the Maremma horsemen, brings the spirit of the buttero into the wardrobe of the modern gentleman.
