Three rings, interwoven as one.

The Russian wedding band is a timeless design, with each ring symbolising a meaningful trinity: past, present and future, or love, friendship and fidelity.

Traditionally crafted in yellow, white and rose gold, this version takes a different approach. Instead of three colours, I used three different textures, creating contrast while keeping the elegance of a single precious metal.

• When Mitsuro Meets Traditional Making •

I have two great loves in jewellery.

The first is traditional goldsmithing and stone setting—a discipline that demands precision, patience and control. Every line, every setting, every detail has its place, and that meticulous process brings me immense satisfaction.

The second is Mitsuro Hikime—an ancient Japanese technique that couldn't feel more different. It is fluid, organic and wonderfully unpredictable, inviting intuition to take the lead and allowing the material to guide the design.

Rather than choosing between them, I've found myself asking...

Why not let them meet?

More and more, I'm exploring ways to combine these two worlds: the precision and refinement of fine jewellery with the expressive, organic beauty of art jewellery.

For me, that's where the most exciting work begins.

It's where craftsmanship meets creativity. Where structure meets flow. Where tradition meets instinct.

And somehow, in that balance, I feel most at home.

Being in a state of play is incredibly important for a creative. It is where we truly innovate, create something new and exciting, discover the unexpected, find new creative solutions to problems...all without the pressure of producing something perfect, but simply playing and exploring.

Sometimes we may unexpectedly create something that will be a finished piece, other times we simply find a new idea or avenue to explore that excites us, something that rekindles the passion for our craft.

A wedding band is more than a circle of precious metal.
It is a promise, a new beginning, and the first chapter of a story yet to be written.

But new beginnings don't ask us to forget the past. Instead, they invite us to carry it forward—to honour the people, memories and moments that have shaped who we are, allowing them to become part of the journey ahead.

These wedding bands embody exactly that.

Created by melting and transforming heirloom wedding rings, the gold is the same, but its story continues in a new form.

Where Eastern and Western goldsmithing meet, metal begins to tell a story.

Created as a bespoke anniversary ring, this piece brings together the fluid beauty of Mitsuro Hikime with traditional goldsmithing techniques, capturing the quiet movement of water and the effortless rhythm of nature.

Five diamonds, each chosen for their own significance, nestle gently amongst silver granules. They don't sit proudly above the surface; instead, they are cradled within it—protected, embraced, and cherished, just as we hold the people and memories that mean the most to us.

There is a softness to this ring. A sense of movement without urgency, strength without force. It is a celebration of a love that has grown, evolved and continued to flow through time.

Creating such a deeply personal piece was both an honour and a privilege. 💛

One of the greatest privileges of making jewellery is being able to capture a moment in time and transform it into something that can be treasured forever.

This simple, sparkling silver pendant was created to celebrate a very special milestone in a young woman's life—a new chapter, new adventures, and a future full of possibility.

What a wonderful weekend!

I’ve just spent two inspiring days teaching a Mitsuro Masterclass at Jewellers Academy Brighton alongside this fantastic group of talented makers.

A huge thank you to each and every one of you for your enthusiasm, curiosity and willingness to embrace a technique that is as challenging as it is rewarding. Watching your confidence grow over the weekend was an absolute pleasure.

I can't wait to see where this technique takes you—please keep in touch and keep creating! ✨

Traditionally gifted as a token of love, devotion and commitment, the fedina is beautifully understated, proving that the simplest gestures often hold the deepest meaning.

This version is handcrafted in hammered silver, with a delicate twist symbolising two lives becoming intertwined. Nestled on either side of the twist are two accent stones, representing the couple and the unique bond they share.
