Quasi 30.000 mozziconi in un solo mese. 🚬♻️

World Environment Day | June 5
Sustainability is not measured by words, but by the choices a company makes every day.
At Pellemoda, we believe that manufacturing excellence must go hand in hand with environmental responsibility. Our commitment is rooted in a long-term vision and supported by concrete actions. Since achieving ISO 14001 certification in 2016, we have continuously invested in responsible growth through the use of renewable energy, ongoing monitoring of environmental performance, and initiatives aimed at making our processes increasingly efficient and sustainable.

Being a benchmark for Made in Italy means looking to the future with vision, awareness, and a strong sense of responsibility. It also means playing an active role in the development of our territory through strategic collaborations, local initiatives, and long-term projects aimed at creating shared environmental value.

We believe that lasting change is built collectively, through shared commitment, meaningful partnerships, and a common vision for the future. By working together, we can strengthen our local ecosystem, encourage innovation, and contribute to a more sustainable tomorrow. Because the most meaningful innovation is the one that creates a positive impact beyond company boundaries.

Azzurra Morelli, CEO of Pellemoda, representative of Confindustria Moda and Vice President of Confindustria Toscana Centro e Costa with responsibility for Gender Equality and Corporate Culture, took part today in the Global Fashion Summit in Copenhagen, joining the panel “Climate Adaptation in Luxury Value Chains.”

The discussion focused on one of the most strategic challenges for the fashion industry: how luxury value chains can adapt to climate change while preserving industrial continuity, manufacturing excellence and long-term competitiveness.

During the panel, Azzurra Morelli shared the perspective of the Italian manufacturing system, highlighting the importance of collective responsibility, collaboration across the value chain and resilient industrial models capable of transforming sustainability into concrete action.

Particular attention was dedicated to the future of leather and textile production systems, the role of water governance and the value of industrial districts as real laboratories for innovation and climate adaptation.

Thank you to Global Fashion Agenda for this important opportunity for dialogue and international exchange.

I am pleased to announce that I will be speaking at Global Fashion Summit: Copenhagen Edition 2026, taking place from 5–7 May. 📍

Presented by the Summit is a leading international forum for sustainability in fashion, convening decision-makers from across the value chain to accelerate collective action.

🌎This year’s theme, Building Resilient Futures, recognises that the fashion industry is facing extraordinary challenges. It invites us to reflect on how we respond, where we fall on the spectrum between resistance and adaptation, and how resilience can drive meaningful transformation.

I look forward to contributing to the dialogue alongside leaders from across the global fashion community.

Don’t miss out!
