Quasi 30.000 mozziconi in un solo mese. 🚬♻️

Spesso si pensa che un mozzicone sia una cosa da poco.

In realtà, è uno dei rifiuti più dispersi nell’ambiente.

Grazie al progetto Re-Cig, nel mese di giugno presso Pellemoda sono stati raccolti:

♻️ 8,920 kg di mozziconi
🚬 29.730 si*****te equivalenti recuperate
🔄 3,479 kg di nuova materia prima prodotta dal riciclo
🌍 70,468 kg di CO₂e risparmiati

La sostenibilità non è fatta solo di grandi progetti. È fatta soprattutto di piccoli gesti ripetuti ogni giorno.

Perché ogni mozzicone conferito nel posto giusto è un rifiuto in meno disperso nell’ambiente e una risorsa in più che può tornare a vivere.

*L’obiettivo di questa iniziativa non è promuovere il consumo di tabacco, ma ridurre l’impatto ambientale dei mozziconi prodotti, favorendone il corretto conferimento e il recupero attraverso il riciclo.‼️

Azzurra Morelli, CEO of Pellemoda, representative of Confindustria Moda and Vice President of Confindustria Toscana Centro e Costa with responsibility for Gender Equality and Corporate Culture, took part today in the Global Fashion Summit in Copenhagen, joining the panel “Climate Adaptation in Luxury Value Chains.”

The discussion focused on one of the most strategic challenges for the fashion industry: how luxury value chains can adapt to climate change while preserving industrial continuity, manufacturing excellence and long-term competitiveness.

During the panel, Azzurra Morelli shared the perspective of the Italian manufacturing system, highlighting the importance of collective responsibility, collaboration across the value chain and resilient industrial models capable of transforming sustainability into concrete action.

Particular attention was dedicated to the future of leather and textile production systems, the role of water governance and the value of industrial districts as real laboratories for innovation and climate adaptation.
