Forme ergonomiche, avvolgenti, volutamente abbondanti; ma anche un design minimale definito da tratti sottili e strutture leggere. — 1977, giapponese basato a Milano — ha firmato per DePadova sedute, imbottiti, letti e complementi dallo stile inconfondibile, sintesi di un equilibrio preciso fra forme, materiali e funzionalità.

Ergonomic, enveloping, and intentionally generous forms meet a minimalist design language defined by slender lines and lightweight structures. Omi Tahara — born in 1977, a Japanese designer based in Milan — has created for DePadova a distinctive collection of chairs, upholstered pieces, beds, and accessories. His work is characterized by a precise balance of form, materials, and function, resulting in designs that are both refined and unmistakably recognizable.

Classe 1962, tedesco, Norbert Wangen ha disegnato alcuni dei modelli più iconici del catalogo Boffi. La Serie K, ad esempio, ha rappresentato una rivoluzione nel mondo delle cucine compatte: forme essenziali ma innovative, ricerca di materiali e finiture, e soluzioni funzionali integrate, hanno trasformato il modo in cui si utilizza — e vive — l’ambiente. La cucina, da spazio funzionale, evolve in luogo di convivialità. Per il bagno, Norbert Wangen ha firmato la serie L14/L18: un lavabo minimal ma scultoreo, che ne definisce l’interior.

Born in 1962 in Germany, Norbert Wangen is the designer behind some of the most iconic pieces in the Boffi collection. The K Series, for example, marked a turning point in the world of compact kitchens. Essential yet innovative in form, it combines a careful exploration of materials and finishes with integrated functional solutions, transforming the way the kitchen is used — and experienced. No longer merely a functional space, the kitchen becomes a place for gathering and conviviality. For the bathroom, Norbert Wangen designed the L14/L18 series: a washbasin that is both minimalist and sculptural, a defining element within the interior.

A living material, capable of combining age-old craftsmanship and artisanal expertise with a refined, timeless aesthetic — contemporary design that brings warmth and character to every space.
DePadova explores the expressive and design potential of wood through seating for both indoor and outdoor settings, as well as a selection of furnishings and accessories. Evoluzione di Xila — del 1972 — XPL presenta una valorizzazione del dettaglio costruttivo quale elemento identitario: il segno si riduce all’essenziale, le proporzioni sono controllate, gli angoli smussati, il top aggettante. An evolution of Xila — originally launched in 1972 — XPL elevates construction detailing as a defining design element. The language is reduced to its essentials: carefully balanced proportions, softened edges, and a distinctive overhanging countertop create a refined and timeless aesthetic.

Luogo intimo per eccellenza, il letto è terreno di sperimentazione per materiali, stili e rimandi. Blendy di Omi Tahara, ad esempio, ha una struttura leggera, interamente rivestita in tessuto, con impunture a vista; diversamente da Erei di Elisa Ossino che rivede la lavorazione capitonné in chiave contemporanea, con linee smussate e forme morbide. Asseman di Patrizia Cagliani ripensa il letto a baldacchino con l’accostamento di materiali differenti — struttura in tubolare e cielino di cotone —, mentre Time for Trip deve la sua cifra stilistica alla testata, inclinata.

The most intimate space of all, the bed becomes a ground for experimentation with materials, styles, and references.
Blendy by Omi Tahara, for instance, features a light structure entirely upholstered in fabric, with visible stitching. In contrast, Erei by Elisa Ossino reinterprets capitonné craftsmanship in a contemporary way, with softened lines and gentle forms.
Asseman by Patrizia Cagliani revisits the canopy bed through the combination of different materials — a tubular structure paired with a cotton canopy — while Time for Trip stands out for its distinctive inclined headboard.

Due arredi iconici firmati da Archivio Storico Bonacina e parte del catalogo DePadova: Silvia e T.54 sono portatori di un’estetica senza tempo — e per questo sempre attuale. Silvia è la massima espressione del know-how artigianale di Bonacina1889: ogni pezzo è unico, tutt’oggi realizzato a mano con canne d’India legate con corteccia di giunco. Completa di cuscino per seduta, è disponibile anche nella versione rosso laccato. T.54 interpreta invece le potenzialità espressive del midollino, che descrive una scocca circolare ed eccentrica nella composizione delle parti. Personalizzabile anche in tonalità rosso Terracotta e verde Eucalipto, con struttura in acciaio verniciato nero, T.54 è disponibile anche in versione outdoor.

Two iconic pieces from the Bonacina Historical Archive and part of the De Padova collection, Silvia and T.54 embody a timeless aesthetic that remains as relevant today as ever. Silvia represents the highest expression of Bonacina1889’s artisanal expertise. Each piece is unique and still handcrafted using Indian cane, meticulously bound with reed bark according to traditional techniques. Complete with a seat cushion, it is also available in a lacquered red finish. T.54, on the other hand, showcases the expressive potential of rattan core, shaping a circular shell distinguished by its unconventional and dynamic composition. Customisable in Terracotta Red and Eucalyptus Green, with a black painted steel frame, T.54 is also available in an outdoor version.

A fully equipped unit containing all essential functions within just half a cubic meter: refrigerator, cooktop, storage compartments, drawers, niches, and a pull-out worktop. Electrically powered and mounted on swivel wheels, it is now available in white Corian.
